Uber/Lyft/Taxi/Car Services

Although prices will vary, taking an Uber or a Lyft from Bradley International Airport to UMass Amherst will cost ~$50 to $80.

Similarly, although prices will vary, taking an Uber or a Lyft from Boston Logan Airport to UMass Amherst will cost ~$140 to $230.

Taxis are also available for transportation to/from any of the airports.

Exclusive Car Service Inc. (+1 877-695-4665) provides private car services to/from Bradley, Boston Logan, and the New York airports.

Off-Campus During-Conference Travel

During the conference, SPR has contracted with UMass Transportation Services to provide FREE nightly shuttles to and from Amherst Center and downtown Northampton to allow people to explore the numerous restaurants, pubs, and entertainment options. These shuttles will run continuously from ~6:00pm to 11:00pm (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). Details will be discussed in the program and announced during the welcome remarks on Wednesday evening.

Amtrak – trains with routes across a wide range of destinations in the Northeastern US

Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) – the largest regional transit authority in the state

Peter Pan – a variety of bus lines servicing multiple metropolitan areas in the Northeastern US

Greyhound – a variety of bus lines servicing Amherst … based on the service you select and route availabilities you should take a bus to Amherst UMass if at all possible instead of Amherst Center (Amherst Center is about 1.5 miles from the UMass Campus)
